Taos Pueblo

This adobe building has been continuously inhabited about 1,000 years, the longest of any building in the U.S.

When we were there the area had been inundated with rain. We were very lucky to have been here between storms. It rained so much, the horizontal surfaces were darkened due to the rain soaking into the adobe. You can see several areas that need to have the adobe repaired.
